Three Rivers Festival announces that Drowning Pool will be playing at the Three Rivers Festival

Drowning Pool is going to playing at the 41st Three Rivers Festival!

Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival is thrilled to announce that Drowning Pool, presented by 98.9 The Bear, will be playing at the 41st Three Rivers Festival.

Drowning Pool just got back from playing for our troops at Guantanamo Bay and will be heading out on the Crue Fest tour shortly after playing at the Three Rivers Festival.

Drowning Pool, Texas modern rockers, was formed in 1996. Their most recent album is called “Full Circle” released with a new lead singer Ryan McCombs in 2007. Ryan McCombs is an Indiana native and has been with the band since June 2005. The new album includes powerful songs “Reborn,” paying tribute to the late Dave Williams, original lead singer, who passed away from a rare heart disease, and “Soldiers” being sung for many soldiers sent over to Iraq.

Rev Theory will be one of the opening acts for Drowning Pool. There will also be a of couple local bands playing that evening.

The Saturday, July 11th, concert will be 21 and over. Gates will open at 6PM. Opening acts will be starting at 6PM.

General Admission Tickets for the concert will go on sale June 2nd at 9AM at trfonline.org. They can also be purchased by calling the Three Rivers Festival office. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door with a Festival button, and $18 at the door without a button.
