40th Annual Fort Wayne Newspapers
Three Rivers Festival!!
July 12 - 20,
2008
The Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival is an annual 9-day celebration of the Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana community.
Events include an arts fair, children's activities, senior's events,
national acts, concessions, a marketplace and a parade which adds up
to fun for the whole family.
The Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival will be 40 years old
(Happy 40th Birthday!) in 2008. With an estimated attendance of
400,000 people, we are second only to the Indy 500 Festival in the
state of Indiana. The Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival
takes place at Headwaters Park in downtown Fort Wayne.
Eighty percent of Festival events are free to the public. Festival
generates revenue from the following venues: sponsorship, vendor
fees, ticket sales, gate admission at the event tent and beer sales.
The Board of Directors strives to keep events free or at a low
admission fee so that Festival is accessible to all members of the
community.
The Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival continually changes
events to keep up with the demands of the public. We welcome any
constructive comments that you might have.
We hope to see all of you
in July!
